This post was scheduled to go up on Wednesday and welp, not only was I not feeling it (Wednesday I mean), it didn’t seem appropriate to post something so sexual. Obviously. If you know me at all, you know that I am all for self-confidence, respect, and individualism. And very much against sexism and misogyny. And even though spirits aren’t necessarily high, I do believe that we should empower each other and ourselves however we see fit. If that means embracing your sexy self with some bewitching lingerie, then do that. This post is fun and cheeky, and lord knows we need some of that right now.
Now for those who love to adorn their body with lingerie, I’m bringing Fleur du Mal back for another post. My first post about their pieces was way back in January and all about Valentine’s Day. With holiday shopping near it seemed fitting to bring up lingerie again because it’s a great time to splurge on a present for yourself (or your lover). But even more than lingerie, I love that Fleur du Mal has so many pieces that can be styled to wear outside of the bedroom. Like their gorgeous slips and bodysuits. With Fleur du Mal you’re just as likely find some holiday party inspiration as you are boudoir inspiration. I guess it just depends on how much of your inner minx you’re trying to let out this year.
Fleur du Mal Velvet Slip Dress – Where is the knife emoji because this velvet slip dress is killer. Both velvet and slip dresses are having a moment as is rose quartz (thanks Pantone). Romance, drama, and going braless are all sexy this season, might as well live it up.
Fleur du Mal Collared Bodysuit – I’m in love. It’s perfect and I want it, from the collar to the polka dots to the structured bodice. Have any holiday parties you wanna hit up while wearing this and a sexy pencil skirt? Or maybe just bring it in the bedroom and get your teach’ on.
Fleur du Mal Tuxedo Bodysuit – This isn’t as overt as the Collared Bodysuit, but it’s got an insanely deep V neckline with satin lapel which I’m into. It’s menswear inspired for those who can’t really pull off menswear, streamlined yet feminine and beautiful.
Fleur du Mal Luxe Triangle Bra and Luxe V String – With bras being worn as tops, this triangle bra fits right in with those who idolize Rihanna and Bella Hadid. Pairing their sexy little triangle tops with pencil skirts or under fitted blazers.
Fleur du Mal Rose Lace Cami and Rose Lace Tap Shorts – We’re currently watching (rewatching for me) Gossip Girl and it’s just non-stop lacy rompers, camis, and slip dresses. No, it’s not the most practical but I wouldn’t mind walking around my house in this chic set.
Fleur du Mal Rose Lace Unlined Demi Bra and Rose Lace Thong – This lovely set also comes in black, and black/white, but this pink is so pretty. The unlined top half features delicate scalloped lace and underwire for support.
Fleur du Mal Satin Convertible Strapless Bra, Satin Top Stitch Thong, and Satin Garter Belt – A classic combo. The satin bra, thong, and garter belt combination is always a winner. It’s very Agent Provocateur in nature. But the topstich on the bra and thong paired with the sheer paneling is beautiful.
Fleur du Mal Sheer Overlay Demi Bra and Seamless Lace Back Thong – This bra reminds me of a sexier version of my beloved Natori Feathers bra. It’s perfect for low-key sauciness, and you could wear it during the day but it still works in the bedroom for seducing.
