While I don’t think this song was played a lot when I was younger, it gives me major nostalgia. With everyone in a different room trying to secretly wrap presents at the last minute. Staying up too late out of excitement. And then trying to go to sleep but having the Christmas lights outside shine into my room. It’s like this bubbling over of excitement mixed with togetherness and knowing that it won’t always be this way, so savor the moment and enjoy that Christmas Eve magic.
