Think of this post as either a Valentine’s Day gift guide or one big fantasy post with all things red and pink and sparkly and playful and sexy. The perfect Valentine’s Day lingerie? Check. Lace blindfold? Check. Sequined hi-top Chucks? Checkitty check. I got the goods to fill your head with V-Day fashion fantasies.
While brainstorming Valentine’s Day posts Dan suggested I put together a post on my ideal Valentine’s Day and instantly my head flooded with ideas. There is no IDEAL Valentine’s Day. There are only endless possibilities and plus I don’t enjoy the pressure of Valentine’s Day or making plans or big romantic gestures. I want things that are fun, exciting, slightly spontaneous, and maybe a little sexy. So instead of putting together a post about my ideal Valentine’s Day (impossible), I put together a list of things that embody my Valentine’s Day aesthetic. Fun. Sexy. Crazy. Cool.
I’ve seen so many blog posts promising unusual, unique, and different Valentine’s Day outfits. But different from what? I searched Pinterest to see what typical Valentine’s Day outfits look like and a lot of them include full skirts in red or pink or tight skirts and dresses, all with pumps. Ok well, throw out those ideas because this roundup isn’t anything like that. Though I guess my post still counts as unique Valentine’s Day outfit ideas?! But by outfits I mean really freaking cool things you should have in your closet 365, like rose velvet western boots and an embroidered bomber jacket that is reversible (it’s pink inside!) And the lingerie? Well, that’s self-explanatory. Treat your sexy body to some equally sexy lingerie. You’re welcome, enjoy. Peace, love, and happiness.
