Easter is still about two weeks away but this year the Easter Bunny hit up Pinterest early. I started seeing pastel eggs and basket inspiration pins pop up before March even started. Dan and I were at Target on Valentine’s Day when they were already taking down all the V-Day sweets and bringing in the Easter candy and decorations.
I’ll admit the Easter retail season is not my favorite, but at least there’s Pinterest to take the edge off by keeping me happily removed from the madness of retail stores. Plus Pinterest is the place to go for inventive holiday inspiration, even for Easter. Sure, if you’re looking for DIY Easter Eggs, there’s a fair share of awesome ideas out there, but this year I am focusing on Easter inspiration in general. Baskets, desserts, brunch ideas. Pretty and delicious things to get you excited for the holiday. Easter is the last holiday where we get to decorate with a holiday theme before the Fourth of July, it’s also more or less the kickoff party for spring, so let’s all embrace the Easter and spring spirit with these adorable, fun, and delicious Easter ideas
DIY Edible Golden Egg Place Settings | Sugar and Cloth – Edible place settings are a great idea. No waste, just a pretty setting that’s also delicious.
White Chocolate Easter Egg Cupcakes | Garnish and Glaze – Aren’t these vanilla cupcakes with white chocolate frosting so cute? I love how the chocolate acts as a nest for the little eggs.
A Modern Easter Basket – Three Ways | Style Me Pretty – Adults need Easter baskets too, especially if they’re filled with yummy goodies for a delicious cheese and meat board. Add a couple delicious drinks and you’re good to go.
DIY Paint Chip Place Cards for Easter | The Proper Blog – This is such a cute and easy idea. Taking paint chips and using them as place cards seems so obvious but makes a nice impact.
Easter Bark with Cadbury Mini Eggs + Marshmallow | Say Yes – This indulgent Cadbury mini egg and marshmallow bark is so wonderfully pastel and perfect for Easter.
DIY Mini Bunny Bag | Style Me Pretty – Adorable! I know these are for kids but they’re just so sweet. I’d make these for friends for brunch and fill them with mini bottles of alcohol.
Easter Nest Cake | by Cakegirls for TheCakeBlog.com – Oh I love this cake so much! The coconut flakes, the massive eggs. It’s a lot more in-depth than other desserts but the visual payoff is worth the effort.
Easter Brunch | The Candid Appetite – This spread goes above and beyond what you’d expect from an Easter brunch but it’s not that difficult to recreate these tasty recipes or the table setting. Isn’t it gorgeous?
