I talk about the importance of feeling comfortable in your clothes all the time on this site. I believe that if you do not feel comfortable you will not look confident. And let’s be clear, by comfortable I don’t mean oversize or frumpy. I mean soft fabrics. Seam-free lines. Nothing too tight. Or things that are light and airy. You know, pieces that look good and feel good. For me, this often starts with the right bra and underwear for my outfit, which is part of why partnering with Hanes.com on this Comfydence post was a no brainer.

Dan and I often go on date nights and aside from blog events, it’s the only time I get to dress up. We live in the greater Seattle area and the city is known for its casual style, but that doesn’t mean you can’t amp things up for a night out. Now here’s where things get interesting. I know it’s not the easiest thing to pull off but lately I have been absolutely loving sheer. It’s so sexy and delicate. In the past I would have shied away from wearing sheer blouses without a tank top underneath. Sheer isn’t the easiest thing to wear and you definitely need to be confident to pull it off. Being comfortable gives you more confidence. And being confident gives you more freedom to wear what you want to wear and experiment with your style. Like I have here with this sheer blouse.
